The Neuro-Environmental Study of Fetal Developmental Trajectories
Study Visits
This study will have 5 study visits. 3 of these visits will be on-site and 2 will be remote.
All on-site visits will be held at The Women's Health Center at 159 East 53rd Street.

1
Pregnancy Week 20
ON-SITE
At your first visit we will orient you to the study, complete an MRI scan of your brain, collect biological samples (hair and blood), fill out questionnaires, complete some cognitive tasks, and we will introduce the wearable portion of the study.
Your second visit will take place over Zoom, from the comfort of your home. Similar to Visit 1, we will ask you to complete a set of questionnaires and a diet survey.

Pregnancy Week 34
ON-SITE
Your third visit is on-site. The visit will consist of a blood sample collection, filling out questionnaires, completing some cognitive tasks, and completing an MRI scan of your brain and your baby's brain.

Newborn Visit
Infant Age 0-3 Months
ON-SITE
When your child is 0-3 months old, we ask you to come in person to answer more questionnaires and diet surveys, collect biological samples, and scan you and your child's brain.

For the final study visit, we will ask you to answer questionnaires, complete cognitive tasks, and have your child participate in a few behavior tasks.

In-Between Visits
We will ask that you take some extra measures to help us collect data remotely. We do this in 2 different forms - short daily surveys (<1 minute per day) and wearing an Oura ring for up to 14 weeks to measure your activity and sleep patterns.
